How do I add a new trip?
Tap the Trips tab, then tap the + button in the top right corner. Fill in your destination, dates, and trip type — a packing list will be generated automatically.
Where is my data stored? Is it backed up?
All your trips, packing lists, and documents are stored locally on your device. TripEZ does not use cloud sync. If you delete the app or switch to a new device, your data will not transfer automatically. We recommend keeping a note of any critical document details separately.
I forgot my documents PIN. How do I reset it?
Go to Settings → Clear All Data to reset the app, which will also clear the PIN. Note: this will delete all your trips and data. If you only need to clear the PIN, email us and we can walk you through it.
My packing list didn't generate — what happened?
AI packing list generation requires an internet connection. If the list is empty, try tapping Reset List → Regenerate Defaults on the Packing screen. If the issue persists, please email us with your iOS version and a description of the problem.
How do I delete a trip?
On the Trips screen, swipe left on any trip card to reveal the Delete button.
Can I use TripEZ offline?
Yes — all core features (viewing trips, checking off packing items, viewing documents) work fully offline. AI packing list generation and weather forecasts require an internet connection.
How do I turn off trip reminder notifications?
Go to Settings in the app and toggle off Trip Reminders. You can also manage notifications in iOS Settings → TripEZ → Notifications.

To help us fix issues quickly, please include the following when you email us:

  1. Your iOS version (Settings → General → About)
  2. TripEZ app version (Settings tab → App Version)
  3. A description of what you expected to happen
  4. A description of what actually happened
  5. Steps to reproduce the issue, if possible
